This sculpture by Salvador Dali titled "Woman Aflame" is perhaps one of my fave dali pieces! I went to the Dali exhibition earlier this week in London and wandered around like Alice in Wonderland in a world of whimsy and dreams.
I imagined what articles one might find in my "pyschological drawers" so to speak? What drawers would i be joyus to open, finding within treasures i had long since thought i'd lost? Which ones would i steadfastly refuse to open, fearful of what may lay inside? And what in my life would i choose to place in safety, what moments, what objects, smells, feelings, colours, sensations, people, plants etc, all to be taken out and enjoyed at will?
