Off to the pharmacia I take myself for panadol before a trip to the Museu Picasso! Still feeling quite ill and struggled around the museum with knee and thigh joints killing me!
Wow - Picasso was such an amazing painter at only 15 - of course he was destined for brilliance! The exhibition is fantastic because it shows you his earliest work up until his cubism stage - so what was really amazing was to see how he evolved as a painter!
As much as I like his cubism work, what I loved was his landscapes of Spain! There are even paintings of things I have seen and recognised! (eg Column in Barcelona - right near where I stayed!) With the Spainish landscape to inspire - even I might be able to paint something resembaling a piece of artwork!
And his ceramic work is just sensational! There is one piece which is a platter and then added accross it is another piece of fish bones! Bad description - sorry, maybe you just have to see it for yourself!
